One of the best things about editing with Premiere Pro is that I am plugged into the Creative Suite. In this movie, I will show you how to take a clip to After Effects via Dynamic Link, so you can apply some custom creative looks to your scene. The first thing I'd like to do before sending a clip over to After Effects is hold the Option or the Alt key on a PC and drag the clip up to another track. I do this for two reasons: one is to preserve a backup copy of this original clip in case I'd like to make changes to it later, and the other is so that I can pull handles out before I send this over to After Effects. I might want to dissolve this with the next clip later on. I will right-click on the clip and choose Replace With After Effects Composition. You'll need to save this project somewhere. I created an After Effects project folder and name it. I will press Save and the clip will load up into an After Effects comp. I will scrub through this clip until I find a place where I can see…
