Earlier in this chapter in the movie about making color corrections, I showed you a technique of making a secondary color correction to reduce the saturation of a portion of a shot. Now that's a great way of making a targeted correction but it's not the only way that you can make a secondary correction inside of Premier Pro. Now just to be clear, what I'm about to talk about is an entirely new feature inside of Premier Pro that first came out in this recent release of the 2014 version of Premier Pro. And that's the ability to add masks and then track those masks inside of Premier. Let me show you how this works. Here I have a shot of our main guy here in his bedroom, getting consoled by his wife about how much debt they're in. And the shot looks okay. I've actually already gone ahead and over here in my Effects controls, just done a basic correction to kind of amp up the sort of contrast in that shot, make it a little bit brighter, I added a little bit of saturation.
