Fixing common color problems
Earlier in this chapter we took a look at making a couple contrast corrections on shots to improve their overall look. And contrast corrections are a key part to making shots look better, but it's called color correction after all. So in this movie, I want to dive into making some color fixes. Specifically, to color imbalance and then saturation. So here on this project I'm working on o2o6 color problems. And I have the first shot from our promo and I just put on here to it's own timeline. And looking at the shot, it looks kind of blue but let's go ahead and verify that. I'm going to open up my Vector scope and yeah, definitely I have a push towards the blue. You'll notice that all my signal here is pushed towards the blue target, with a little bit of cyan and green thrown in as well. I definitely have a cool image, and this is not the look that I'm going for, so I definitely want to go ahead and fix this. Let's switch over to the RGB Parade. Take a look at that.
