Developing a look in SpeedGrade to use in Premiere Pro

In the previous movie, we talked about the direct link workflow. That's the interoperability between Premiere Pro and Adobe SpeedGrade. And it's pretty slick, and pretty cool, and really efficient. And when we went over to SpeedGrade, we applied kind of a silly looking look to a shot to prove a point of what happens when you come back to Premiere Pro. We made a shot kind of hot pink and when we got back to Premiere Pro, well the shot was hot pink, and that's because a Lumetri effect was applied to the shot. And that's obviously a nice seamless way to do things, but in a lot of workflows, you want to kind of build a look library. You want to have sort of corrections that are kind of your go to corrections or your go to grades. For example, you might want to have a generic warm look or a generic cool look, or sort a generic high contrast look. And, it really doesn't matter the actual shot that you're working on.
