Welcome to Premiere Elements 7 Essential Training. Hi, I'm Jeff Sengstack. Creating a good video is a very satisfying thing for you and your audience. Whether you are making a movie, putting together a business presentation or cutting together the best parts of your vacation video, Premiere Elements 7 can give you polished results. As a video producer and journalist, an author of six books on video editing and an Adobe Certified Expert in Premiere Pro, I have learned the ins and outs of Premiere Elements 7. I have designed this course in bite- sized movies. So, although there is a lot of functionality in Premiere Elements 7, you won't be overwhelmed with too much information at once.
Here is a quick overview of the topics I'll cover. Setting up your project, getting to know the interface, importing your media assets as well as organizing them. I'll get into the basic editing process and how to do a few effects with your footage like just slowing it down, playing it backwards and creating freeze frames. I will show you how to use Cross Dissolves, Wipes and other transitions and you will get a look at how to create some video effects to give your video the look and feel that you want. What else you ask? Working with audio, creating animations, making titles and sideshows, then I'll show you how to share your videos.
I really enjoy the process and the results of working with Premiere Elements 7 and I'm pleased to show you how much fun it can be to use this editing tool to tell your stories. Now, let's get started with Premiere Elements 7 Essential Training.
