If you're anything like my wife and I, you are always looking for ways to improve the way your house looks and so Pinterest is a great way to aggregate all of that inspiration for your next home-remodeling project as well. I have got a sample board here created called Home Remodel. Let's take a look at that now. I'll click on the board name, and it takes me here. You can see that all of these different things are corresponding to what I might want in my home-remodeling project. For instance, here is an example of what I might want our kitchen to look like. I've also got an example of what I want the wood flooring to look like.
But it's not just these big details. You can get as detailed as you want. For instance, I have got this here to talk about the small tiles that might be going on the countertops. I've even got appliances that I've taken. So, we like this refrigerator, or the stove, these bar stools that happen to come from IKEA. Here is a picture that's not necessarily referencing anything in particular. It's actually a shot of these two people, but I like the cabinets behind them. So I've pinned this there and said, "I'd love for our cabinets to look something like this." And there's also a hammer here. This might be something that pops up after the remodel, because as you can see, I've got it labeled as Here's the hammer that my wife threw at my head after I put a huge hole in the guest bathroom wall! So you can do all kinds of creative things using the Pinterest system to help you on any project: home remodeling, office remodeling, whatever it might be. You can find images online, sites like IKEA and Home Depot, and then pin all of those in one single place.
You don't have to go to all of these different websites over and over and over again; just take the links to the content that you want to find, aggregate them into a site like Pinterest, and then you'll have all of them in one single place where you and your wife, or whoever might be helping you plan this remodeling project, can go, look at everything you've got, and then sort of sift through everything until you get exactly what you want. Then you comprise a list, take that to the home improvement store, or wherever it is you might be buying the stuff. It'll be so much easier once you have a nice clean list to work from, knowing exactly what you want and knowing exactly what you don't want as well.
