Video: Interacting with pins

One of the great things about Pinterest is the fact that you can repin things that other people have posted to share them with the followers that you have, and you can also like things as well, to give you a sort of stamp of approval on the things that people are posting. Using the Pinterest mobile application is really no different. You can repin and like posts the same way you can in the desktop version here on a mobile device. All you have to do is navigate to someone's post that you like and then go down and tap on the Like icon here. As you can see, it automatically records a like for that particular post, and it displays it right underneath the pin.

Interacting with pins

One of the great things about Pinterest is the fact that you can repin things that other people have posted to share them with the followers that you have, and you can also like things as well, to give you a sort of stamp of approval on the things that people are posting. Using the Pinterest mobile application is really no different. You can repin and like posts the same way you can in the desktop version here on a mobile device. All you have to do is navigate to someone's post that you like and then go down and tap on the Like icon here. As you can see, it automatically records a like for that particular post, and it displays it right underneath the pin.

If you want to repin this, just tap on Repin. That's going to bring up the Repin screen, where you're able to choose what board you put it on, and you can also determine whether or not you share it on Facebook and Twitter. Then at the top, just tap Repin and it will automatically repin that to your account. Let's try that one more time. We'll go down to this one. I'll like it. It records it. I'll tap Repin. Once I get to the Repin screen, I choose the Board, I choose my Share Settings, and then I tap Repin.

And it repins it to my account. I can then navigate to my profile, and then I can go to those boards to make sure that the pins went across as they were supposed to. So I'll tap on this board here. And as you see, there is the first pin repinned to this board using just the mobile app. So, even though I don't have the full desktop Pinterest experience here in this application, I do have its core features that are really helpful, like repinning and liking. So, as you continue to use this application while you're out and about, be sure to use this feature so that you can easily repin and like things while you're on the go.
