Pinterest is a social media tool that allows you to bookmark content around the web in a visually pleasing arrangement. In this course, author Justin Seeley illustrates the basics of setting up and managing a Pinterest account and explores ideas for finding inspiration. Fill out your profile, add friends, and start pinning. Discover how to share activity on Facebook and Twitter, add your own image and video pins, and plan for activities like a wedding or vacation. The course also covers pinning on the go with the iOS and Android apps.
Once you've got a board created on Pinterest, you can edit the details of that board at any time by navigating to the Board page and choosing Edit Board. Once you choose Edit Board, you'll see that you get an additional option that wasn't there during the board-creation phase, the Description phase. So, the Title of this is going to be My Vacation. I might want to change that to My Vacation 2012. Description: "We're traveling abroad and need some ideas on where to go." So this is what my board is going to be about to be about.
It's going to be about my vacation. We're traveling abroad, maybe Europe, who knows, and I want to pin ideas for where we need to go while we are on vacation. So once we do that, I can hit Save Settings. Once I save settings, you are going to see that the Title updates at the top and underneath is now a description. You can make this as detailed or as simple as you like. You can write as much as a paragraph or as little as one sentence, like I did here. But remember, anytime you need to edit the details of a board, simply come to the Board page, click Edit Board, make the changes you need, and then save them.
Everything should reflect instantly once you save them on the Board page itself.
