Browsing and purchasing gifts

Video: Browsing and purchasing gifts

Finding a gift on Pinterest is actually pretty easy. All you have to do is find one of the pins that has a price tag associated with it, like this one right here, and once you are ready to actually buy something that's associated with this pin, all you have to do is click on it. It will launch it up in this isolated view, and if you wanted to purchase this item, you could click on it and it would actually take you to the marketplace page that's associated with this item. So if it came from Etsy, it would be located here. I've seen these come from online stores, different marketplaces. It just depends. Wherever it comes from, this is the area where you'll be able to purchase that item.

Browsing and purchasing gifts

Finding a gift on Pinterest is actually pretty easy. All you have to do is find one of the pins that has a price tag associated with it, like this one right here, and once you are ready to actually buy something that's associated with this pin, all you have to do is click on it. It will launch it up in this isolated view, and if you wanted to purchase this item, you could click on it and it would actually take you to the marketplace page that's associated with this item. So if it came from Etsy, it would be located here. I've seen these come from online stores, different marketplaces. It just depends. Wherever it comes from, this is the area where you'll be able to purchase that item.

Now, if you don't want to try to find these items in your personal Pinterest news feed, you can always browse the Gifts section as well, which is broken down into price points. So for instance, if I know that I need a gift for someone and I want to spend about $20, I can go to the Gifts section, choose $20-$50, and I can browse all of the gifts that are available in that price range. So anytime you need to find something that you want to buy on Pinterest, all you have to do, go here, search for the price you're willing to pay, and then once you pick that price, browse the gifts.

When you're ready to make your purchase, click on the item and then click on the actual picture itself, once you get it isolated, and it should take you to a purchase page. Or in some cases it will actually give you a link in the description to the purchase page as well. So in addition to aggregating ideas, Pinterest is actually becoming quite the robust shopping community as well. So the next time you have some sort of special occasion where you need to buy somebody something, check out Pinterest and see if it doesn't help you out.
