At this juncture, there really are only a couple more things to do with the photograph. One thing that we might want to do is take a look at other photographs that were shot in a similar context where we want to have perhaps some similar process settings. We can select the file that we've worked on. We can right-click or Ctrl+click that and navigate to Develop Settings. Then we can actually copy all of these Camera Raw settings. I'll go ahead and do that here. Next, I'll make my way to another image, or to a set of images, and then right-click or Ctrl+click, go down to Develop Settings and then choose Paste Settings.

Working with multiple adjustments

At this juncture, there really are only a couple more things to do with the photograph. One thing that we might want to do is take a look at other photographs that were shot in a similar context where we want to have perhaps some similar process settings. We can select the file that we've worked on. We can right-click or Ctrl+click that and navigate to Develop Settings. Then we can actually copy all of these Camera Raw settings. I'll go ahead and do that here. Next, I'll make my way to another image, or to a set of images, and then right-click or Ctrl+click, go down to Develop Settings and then choose Paste Settings.

What this is going to do is open up this Paste Settings dialog. Now here it's going to allow me to dial in all of these different controls. Now let's say that one of things that I want to do is kind of get the same look. Well I know that for the most part these two images are similar except the Exposure setting was different. So I am going to check this option off, so it won't apply an Exposure adjustment to this image. All right. Well, now I'll go ahead and click OK in order to apply this. What we'll see here is that it will then update the settings to this particular file.

It will then show me a new preview of this file here right inside of Adobe Bridge. Now if ever I want to make further adjustments to this image, what I can do is go ahead and double-click it to open it up in Adobe Camera Raw. And then here I'll customize my Exposure amount, or for that matter my Brightness or my Fill Light, in order to get this image looking really good. Now in this case I think this photograph looks really nice. I'm good to go. I'll click Done. That will then take me back to Adobe Bridge. And we'll see there, once again, it will update those settings, and it'll show me a new view of this particular image.

And now at this juncture, we've wrapped up our look at this Adobe Camera Raw workflow overview. The only last thing that I want to say here is that typically what I would do after I've done all of my Camera Raw work is I'd then take these images over to Photoshop in order to finish them off, in order to really sweeten them up that last 10 or 15%. Let's take a look at the comparison here, just so we can see what I mean. I'll go ahead and click on the image that we worked on and press the Spacebar key to view this in Full Screen mode. For the most part, this image looks good.

I'll press the Left arrow key, and there we can see the image with just a little bit more depth and contrast in order to apply all of those type of finishing touches. We would, of course, need to open this image up in Photoshop in order to apply those changes, yet Photoshop is outside the scope of this course so I'll go ahead and press the Spacebar key and go back to Adobe Bridge, and here we have officially completed this snapshot, or overview, of an Adobe Camera Raw workflow.
