Using repeated Content-Aware Fill commands to clean up an image (CC 2014)

In this movie, I want to build upon what we already know about content-aware Fill and here, I want to take a look at a situation which is a bit more complex and advanced. We'll be working with this photograph here that I captured of Shawn Stussy, the man behind the brand Stussy, and he's sitting on these steps across from a car. Let's say that we want to remove the car. Well, in order to do that, we would reach for our Lasso tool, as we've talked about before, and we would make a selection. Here, we'll go ahead and make a selection which is a little bit bigger than the object which we want to remove. I'll go ahead and select this object. The next step, of course, because we're on the background layer, is to tap the Delete key on a Mac, or Backspace on Windows. This will open up the Fill dialog. In the Fill dialog, you want to choose Content-Aware. Let's turn Color Adaptation on and then click OK. At this point, we cross our fingers and hope that Photoshop will work some magic. And in…
