Using Screen blending to fix underexposure
In this movie, we'll take a look at how we can brighten photographs which are underexposed by using what's called Screen blending? We'll also talk about, how we can stack up two different blending modes as well? Lets begin by evaluating this photograph, this is a picture of my friend Mike on a snow camping trip. And as you can see here, when I captured this exposure to little bit too dark or too underexposed. To correct that, we'll go ahead and create a new layer, and then we'll change that layer blending mode. Here we're going to create a new layer, we'll just go ahead and create a Curves adjustment layer, you could of course create other adjustment layers as well. We won't be applying any adjustments with that, we'll simply be using this, to be able to apply some blending. Next we'll go to our Layer pull-down menu and here we'll select the option for Screen.
