Understanding the histogram's display of "color"

In this video I'd like to continue our discussion of the fundamentals of color correction, the fundamentals of a color image. And, in a previously learned that, you know, digital images are actually made up of square, you know, pixels. There are like pixel bricks that build up an image. All right, and then those pixels are actually arranged in channels, each of three eight-bit grayscale channels, creating a 24-bit RGB color image. And that the colors actually created an output. So now that we understand that grayscale values, viewing them and controlling them is going to be the key to really correcting our color, we need to have a way to kind of view or monitor these grayscale values. Now in this course we're not using numbers, all right, in a more advanced class we're going to be using numbers, but in this course we're not going to be using any numbers.
