Starting with the right Photoshop workspace
In this video, I just want to take a few minutes just to review the overall tool set and the organization of how we're going to lay out our tools when we're working in Photoshop. The fundamental tools that we're going to be using when we're doing color correction in Photoshop are these panels that we see here: an Info panel, a Channels panel, Layers panel, Properties panel. And the Properties panel and Layers panel work hand in glove with each other, and then the histogram. And then, we're also going to be using adjustment layers such as you see here, and we're also going to be using smart filters. Smart layers so that we can maintain editability of our files. And I recommend that you take out these tools, lay them out in the desktop the way you want to use them. And then, as we discussed earlier, you want to arrange your workspace however you want it and then make your own custom workspace.
