Sharpening an image

In this movie I'd like to address another kind of finishing aspect of doing our color correction workflow in Photoshop, and that is sharpening. At this point we're starting with an image that we've already retouched and so we're calling this the sharpening version of the image and it has a retouch layer. First we kind of need to make some decisions about how we want to handle our layers and kind of depends upon how anal you want to be. I'm pretty anal about my layers, so I always like to have lots of versions that I've done various things to. So, here we have the background layer that's been corrected. We have a retouch layer, and you know, you might even come in here and just call this the, you know, corrected layer. I'll do that a lot of times. And then, we'll have the retouch layer, maybe I'll have multiple retouch layers. And sometimes, I'll take multiple retouch layers, put them in their own folder, you know, called a folder group or layer group in Photoshop. Lots of ways to do…
