Retouching and sharpening

Now that we've finished our color correction and image adjustment using our adjustment layers, we're ready to, kind of fine tune our image. Do some retouching, do some sharpening. Get it ready for final output, whether it's for printing or for the web. Remember, we always do our color correction image adjustments first, so we have the, all the full tonal range of our image to work with. Then we'll retouch. Again, we want to have the full range of tones to work with. And then finally, the last step is going to be sharpen. Remember sharpening increases contrast along edges. So it actually takes out tonal values from your image. So, first thing. Let's look at our image, and see if we have any retouching to do. We can just do a Cmd or Ctrl+plus and zoom in a little bit. And, see, looks like some stuff here. we've got some blemishes on the edge of the image here. I'm not sure what they are. We can remove those. Those might be a little distracting. And let's look around and on the faces…
