Hi! My name is Bryan O'Neil Hughes. I am the Senior Product Manager for Photoshop and I want to welcome you to Photoshop Insider Training Enhancing Photos. In this course we're going to talk about accelerating your workflow, making your images look great and getting the absolute most out of Adobe Photoshop. We're going to start by talking about Camera Raw and we'll talk about how Camera Raw isn't just for raw files, but for JPEGs and TIFFs as well, and what a great timesaver this can be. Next, we'll talk about the Crop tool and the many changes that we have applied to crop and what it means to better compositions in Photoshop.
Next, we'll talk about Auto, and how all of the new places that auto functionality can be adaptive, means a much better start your images and much better results faster. Then we'll talk about Curves and how it doesn't have to be intimidating. By using existing content in the On Image tool will really lower the barrier of entry to curves and show you how powerful it can be. Then we'll talk about Sharpening, and how less is more with sharpening, when to sharpen, when not to and which tools to use for the best possible results.
As we go on to Blur, we'll talk about how to synthesize shallow depth of field and how doing so doesn't require complex, selections, masks or layers. Then we'll talk about Local Adjustments and how a huge part of Photoshop's power comes in brush-based tonal adjustments to your image and you can really polish your work using the Sharpen, Sponge, Dodge and Burn tools. Then we'll talk about the family of Content-Aware technology found in Photoshop and how it's both magical and really useful.
Next, we'll move onto Liquefy, where we'll see that liquefy can be used for wild manipulations or more often than not, subtle detailed modifications to your image, direct manipulation of water, fabric, hair and details of your image. Then we'll talk about lens correction and how we can automatically remove distortion for still and video images. And we'll wrap things up by talking about Presets, and how they not only save a lot of time and can give you consistent results, but you can also use them to break out of a creative barrier and achieve a new look quickly and easily.
So, I'm really excited to share this with you, let's go ahead and get started.
