In this course master Adobe Photoshop artist Uli Staiger takes you step by step through the process of combining real photographic elements with a rendered 3D object to create a stylish futuristic cityscape. Uli shows how to use Photoshop to prepare the background image by combining two source images, add the skytrain and its supporting structure, and use 3D tools to position the train and integrate it with the background. The tutorials are presented in a series of simple, easy-to-follow lessons that give you plenty of room to add your own artistic touches to the final product.
(MUSIC). Hi there. My name is Uli Staiger. I'm a photographer and retoucher from Berlin, Germany. I've created a collection of new Photoshop workshops that walk you through how to create stunning scene, step by step. By following along with me, you'll learn numerous sophisticated techniques and see them apllied in a real world setting. Each of these workshops includes all of the exercise files you'll need to follow along with me step by step. In this fast and breath taking Manhattan-based scene, we'll use Photoshop CS5, extend its new 3D model. You will learn how to create materials and textures for a 3D model of a train, and you will see how to light it.
We'll also cover numerous classic 2D techniques. I'll show you how to create a cool city using non-destructive and easy to use tools. Have fun while creating this extraordinary fantasy scene.
