Lighting the overall interior shot in a small space

So now I'm making the final lighting decisions for the overall shot, inside the house. And what comes to mind is, is that I could shoot it as HDR, to be able to have detail in the windows, and bring the windows, really, the garden into the house, which is what I ultimately want to do. I can also add a little bit of supplemental lighting. I could really raise the overall illumination up to match the windows with strobe light, if I wanted to. But I'm not going to do that. So on the overall shot, we're now making lighting decisions. Figuring out exactly how to handle the fact that the windows are going to be too bright for the interior exposure. And vice versa, the interior'll be too dark for the window exposure. So we can shoot it as an HDR, which I've done. I've shot an HDR bracket. And then I also shot it to be able to be masked together. So that I have correct exposure for the windows, and I have correct exposure for the interiors. And then I can mask those two together in Photoshop.…
