I'd like to talk about the most important tools that we're going to be using in this course, and about how we're going to use them. Previously we talked about how we definitely want to use non-destructive editing tools. I'd like to dig a little bit deeper into a couple of the tools, and in particular I want to talk about the histogram to get us started. because the histogram, particularly in a course like this, where we are using a non-numeric approach, we're not using numbers for color-correction. We have to have some tool to help guide us besides just looking at the color on the screen, which is never a good idea. We need to have something at least semi-quantitative to help us evaluate and then adjust our images. And our tool of choice here really is the histogram. And here we brought up our workspace, our Taz Color Correction Fundamentals workspace. That includes the histogram panel.
