In this video, I'd like to discuss color workflows. Color correction workflows working in Photoshop. And there's a couple of ways we can go, and of course this is color correction in Photoshop, so we're going to focus on a Photoshop-based color correction workflow. Typically, we're going to start with a Raw file. Now you can start with TIFs or JPEGs. Coming off your camera, but I recommend that you start with a Raw file format and as we discussed earlier, a Raw file format like this dot CR2 which comes off of a Canon and each manufacturer has their own, has a lot more information in it, a complete set of information, it's a high resolution file, it's uncompressed. And basically its very difficult to damage this file because as you're about to see, when you work with a Raw file, when we start with a Raw file and we actually have to export something in order to actually work with it like such as in Photoshop, so let's start with a Raw file assuming we're going to start there.
