Evaluating the image in Camera Raw

In this video I'd like to go through the image evaluation process. Just like we did in Photoshop, we're going to use exactly the same fundamental tool and that is histograms. And in Camera Raw it's automatically presented to us as you see up top here. Well, let's go through the same kind of visual evaluation looking at our image but also looking at the histograms. I think you can see, probably on just about any monitor, that this image is, probably has a pretty strong color cast to anybody viewing this. More or less depending on the calibration of your monitor. You know, you may be prepared for seeing a blue color cast but remember the real data is over here in the histogram. And that's where we look at this and, sure enough, we see a huge offset in the, of the blue histogram and offset in relationship to the green and offset in relationship to the red. So it confirms what we see visually but now we really to have trust in this. That we have a strong blue color cast. Now…
