Photoshop has an option to help you organize your layers in addition to layer groups, so putting to your collection of layers into a particular folder and giving that a name. It's one way to organize. You can also color code your layers, so if you right-click or Ctrl- click with a one-button mouse on the eye of a particular layer, you get a little pop up menu that way you could assign a color. So if I want this to be violet or gray, you just kind of have to come up with your own meaning for what these colors mean, but you will see what it does is it actually puts a color strip here in the eye column. So if I right-click or Ctrl-click there and make that one green, and make this one green as well maybe I'll right or Ctrl-click and make that one red. So there, it's a nice option if you need that level organization as long as you know what those colors mean it's a nice way to actually color code your layers.
