Blending an inverted layer - Photoshop Tutorial

Blending an inverted layer
Here I am looking at that most recent version of the wrestlers composition. It's called Matching bulb.psd and I know I keep tweaking this composition, but I'm sitting here looking at that glow and it's just not bright enough. It matches the scene, but it needs a little bit of extra heft. So I've got the glow layer selected here inside Layers panel and I'm going to switch to my Brush tool either by clicking on it or pressing the B key and I'll right-click with that tool in order to bring up my settings. I've got a Size value of 80 pixels of a Hardness of 0%. My foreground and background colors are set to their defaults, black and white. So I'll press the X key in order to change the foreground color to White and then I'll just click right there in the center of the light bulb in order to create a little bit of a shimmer. That's all it takes. So again these blend modes can be very powerful and flexible when combined with the right luminance levels. Well, that's not what this exercise is…
