In this brief movie, I want to share with you a few resources that will help you get even more out of Adobe Camera Raw. The first Web site I want to highlight is photoshopinfocus.com, and this is just a small little site that I put together, where I include some information about other books and resources that you can use in order to get more out of Photoshop and Lightroom. What I want to highlight here is if you go to the section called photoshop resources, there is a place where you can subscribe to a newsletter, and I put this newsletter out about three or four times a year.
It's simply a way to stay in touch. And what I do is I include some information about Photoshop, Lightroom, photography, and creativity. So if you want to subscribe to that, you can do so there. Now I should say I'm in the midst of redesigning this site. So if it looks a little bit different, don't worry. I will include a link to where you can subscribe to the same newsletter in the new redesigned version of the site. The next site that I want to highlight is titled PhotoshopNews.com. You can kind of think of this as the granddaddy of sites, where it collects all of this different information.
This particular site is really put together by Jeff Schewe. He's a great guy and a Photoshop Guru, who really knows his stuff. In particular to Camera Raw, you'll notice over here on the right-hand side, there are some links to a couple other places where you can get some more information about Camera Raw. One of them is Camera Raw Home, which takes you to this site here adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html and here you can get some more information about Adobe Camera Raw, and about the latest version of Camera Raw.
The next site I want to highlight here is John Nack's blog. This site is blogs.adobe.com/jnack, and John Nack is one of the Photoshop Product Managers at Adobe, and he is a really incredible, creative thinker. In Nack's blog, he has a lot of information about Photoshop, about typography, about digital imaging, about some other topics as well and definitely it'd be worthwhile to swing by and to check that one out. The next site is another free resource site. It's called dpBestflow.org.
What this is is its a site put together which highlights a Digital photography best practices in workflow. And what you can do here, say, for example, is you could navigate to Best Practices, and then you can go down to File Format. Here we are going to select some raw file formats. This will then take us to a place where we can learn more, say about the DNG format, which is a raw format that we've talked about here in the training title. Now, there are a number of other areas you want to visit on this site. Here I'd simply wanted to highlight one that might be of interest to you.
Well the last site that I want to highlight is my own. It's just my name. It's chrisorwig.com. Feel free to swing by there, if you want to check out my portfolio, or if you want to keep up-to-date on some of the things I'm doing by way of my blog, or if you want to see some of the other recent projects that I've been working on, like my latest book that I've recently put out. All right. Well that wraps up our look at some resources that I hope will help you out as you dig deeper into working with Adobe Camera Raw.
