About the exercise files
The exercise files for this course are available to all subscribers of the lynda.com online training library. Inside of the Photoshop file folder, there's a logo.psd. This is a multilayered Photoshop file, and we'll use this file to create a varying transparency PNG8 file from both Photoshop using Adobe Generator and from Adobe Fireworks. And inside of the PNG24 file folder, we have the logo.png. This is a 24-bit PNG which already has the transparency in place, and we're going to use this in the Mac and Windows applications and with an online web service, to compress this from a 24-bit PNG down to an 8-bit PNG with varying transparency.
