Welcome to Photoshop CS5 Prepress and Printing. Hello, I'm your instructor, Taz Tally. Due to the proliferation of printing devices the world of prepress and printing has changed dramatically in the last few years. In this course, I'll show you how to prepare your Photoshop files for a wide variety of printing devices, including offset printing presses, digital presses, wide format large gamut inkjet printers, and toner-based printers. I'll explain the characteristics and capabilities as well as the limitations of the various printers and how you can prep your images and adapt your workflow accordingly.
We'll go over image adjustments, color mode conversions, and selecting the right format for print. We'll get into how to assign and build colors to achieve the print colors you expect.
