Hey welcome! My name is Chris Orwig. I am a photographer and I am a teacher. I am on the faculty at the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California, where we are right now and it is a beautiful morning. And I am really excited about this course, Photoshop CS5 Compositing, because here, we are going to take a look at how we can use Photoshop to make the ordinary extraordinary. So what exactly will we cover in this course? Well, we start off by looking at how we can work with layers and how we can blend layers together. We'll also explore how we can work with some vintage type of effects, whether it's adding a photograph to an old vintage TV or an image to an old book.
Now we are going to cover all of these topics and more. And we have a lot of exciting content ahead of us. So without further delay, let's begin.
