For this segment of our photographic adventure, we're going to meet up with a fascinating artist. His name is David Cargill. David creates these amazing and beautiful sculptures. So often when I see a sculpture, say in the center of town, I'm kind of taken back by it. I try to take it all in. And many times it trigger something. It makes me curious. It makes me think about, who is the person who created this piece of art? It makes me want to kind of peer down the line and imagine that person and their process. Well, today, we have that privilege, to meet up with David and learn a little bit about him and about his process.
Well, why David? Well, Keith Carter and David have been friends for years and years. As a matter of fact, they've been friends since Keith was just a little guy, and he's one of Keith's mentors. And so we're going to start our day with an introduction, out and front of his home and studio, and from there we're going to jump right in and explore his space, his studio, his backyard, and my goal is going to be to get to know him, and also to try to capture some images which convey a little bit about who David is and the art that he creates.
