If you're using Photoshop as your primary tool for optimizing your photographic images, you can also Photoshop as the host application for the various applications in the context of Photoshop, that would essentially mean plugins, within the Nik collection from Google. So, let's take a look at a basic workflow for processing images in Photoshop using the Nik collection. I'll start off by opening an image. So, I'll go to the File menu and choose Open. Naturally, I could also use Adobe Bridge to locate a particular image, and then open the image in Photoshop via Adobe Bridge. I'll go ahead and open an image here. And, because it's a raw capture, Adobe Camera Raw will be presented initially and I think it's important to keep in mind that this provides an opportunity for us to fine tune the overall basic appearance of the image before processing the image with an application in the Nik collection.
