Well, you've been looking at a lot of my shots, and now it's time for me to see yours, and I just love this. We've created the Off-Camera Flash Photo Assignment on Flickr, especially for you, a place for you to try these techniques that we've been talking about, and then to share them, and then you also get to see other people's interpretations of these techniques. So, this is very exciting! Now, all you have to do is be a member of Flickr in order to participate. And if you're not already a member, just click on the Join button here, and you can sign up, and it only takes a few minutes.
I think it takes maybe like five minutes or so to do it. Once you're a member -- and you can do this for free, right? It doesn't cost any money. You can get the free membership. Once you do this, then come back to our public group, right here, and I want you to keep a few things in mind. One of them is make sure that you take a look at the group rules right here. They're very basic, very simple. The main thing is that you can post up to ten things each week, no more than that, but ten things each week, and we do want to see your photos.
I mean, that's the whole thing going on here. The other thing is that this is a G-rated group, so we know you're very creative, and you're going to be using off-camera flash for all sorts of great stuff. As long as it's G-rated, we want to see it. We're looking mainly at photos here, and then I just want to remind you that the only photos that should show up in this public group are photos that were captured with the flash removed from the camera. So that means your pop-up flash does not qualify, or if the flash is mounted in the hot shoe on your camera, that's not what we're talking about here.
These are only for photos where the flash has been removed from the camera, using the techniques that we've talked about in this photo assignment. So, this is going to be a lot of fun. I'm to be hanging out there. I'll be submitting some shots. I'm looking forward to seeing your shots. The URL is right up here at the top, but it's basically, flickr.com/groups/offcameraflashassignment. I'll see you there.
