Compressing images

At some point in your crafting career chances are you're going to need to send images of your crafts to a third party, whether it's a publisher or a printer, or even a blogger. And they're all going to have different requirements, as far as the size of your image, and also the resolution. And knowing how to identify what the resolution of your craft photo is, and how to compress it if you need to, is going to become a skill that you're going to have to get very familiar with. Fortunately its not that hard. So, in this movie we're going to go over just that and talk about what exactly DPI is, find out where our image size is and also how to compress our image, or optimize it so that our print quality is not compromised to much. So first of all, let's say that your publisher asks you to send them a photograph, and they give you a specific size that they need to print your image.
