When you have a task on screen there are three ways you can change its due dates. Why? Because, let's face it, how often does something actually get done on time? The easiest way to change a task's due date is by right-clicking its flag. Here I can set the due date to anything I want in the menu or I can choose Custom to specify my own date. An alternative way to change due dates becomes available while viewing the Daily Task List.
On the 22nd I have "Confirm dinner reservation set," but I am going to move that to Tuesday. It's as simple as a drag-and-drop. Of course, this only works if the target due date is within just a few days. A third way to adjust a due date is to edit the task in its own window. By double-clicking on the task I can pull up the window and then change the due date here. Once changed I can Save and Close. Unlike appointments an incomplete task is never forgotten.
If a day finishes its unfinished tasks just move to the next day. If you're looking for more control over how to view your tasks, the next video discusses exactly that.
