Welcome

Welcome to Up and Running with NOOK. I'm Nick Brazzi. In this course, we're going to look at the basics of getting you familiar with buying, downloading, and reading books on a NOOK e-reader. We'll start by identifying the different NOOK devices. Then, we'll get comfortable with the interface so that we can navigate around on a Nook e-reader. Next, we'll see how to browse and buy books on the online Nook store. We'll see how to buy a book from the NOOK website, or directly on the NOOK device itself.

We'll talk about how to read a book on a NOOK starting with the simple, opening a book and flipping pages, and working up to more varied features like managing bookmarks and using the built in dictionary. We'll also see how to find free books online and load them onto a NOOK device. If you've just started using a NOOK e-reader or if you're shopping and trying to decide which NOOK you might want. I think this course will get you familiar with what you need to know to get up and running with NOOK. Now, let's get started.
