One of the most important things with any online platform is going to be the support system, and the Magento Go system actually has a very nice support area. You can access the support by going to the My Account Dashboard, which is where I am at now and clicking on the Support button over here on the left. Once you get into the support system it's going to give you an overview of the Magento Go system, like you see here, and you can also view your latest tickets and also go into the Solutions Library. I am going to open up the Solutions Library in its own tab for a moment, and I am also going to show you how to work with something called Live Help in just a minute as well.
Let's go over to the Solutions Library first, and so you can see here they have all of these different solutions that you can browse. So how to set up your EE Instance into Developer Mode. How is Magento Go SEO optimized? Can I use my own SSL on Magento Go? Is Magento Go available in Europe? You can click this and it will take you to that solution and it will tell you, yes, Magento Go can work anywhere in the world. All of this information is maintained by Magento and they give you answers to the most common questions that they are fielding on a day-to-day basis.
So for instance, you could see something like Magento Go: How does it compare to Community Edition? And so if you're wondering the differences between the Magento Community Edition and the Magento Go Platform, you can see exactly what those differences are here. So for instance, Magento Go has the same features as Community Edition, plus some features found in Magento Enterprise. Some of the features that are available with Magento Go and not Magento Community are banners, CMS, gift cards, store credit, Admin logging and assisted shopping. So if you're interested in that, you might want to explore that a little bit more.
Anytime you're working on your store, you find something that just doesn't makes sense, try browsing this thing called the Solutions Library. You can even type in a question here and search. If someone else has asked that question before, that will show up and you can view the answer. Now let's close this up and let's go back into this other page here and let's say that you couldn't find what you're looking for in the Solutions area. Let's click on Live Help for a moment and you can see here that it brings up this section where you can send in an email with a subject and a question, or you can chat with them.
So let's type in a subject, how do I change themes? I want to change the theme of my store. How do I do that? And I'll say chat with us. That's going to launch this little chat window which I can move to the middle. And someone is actually on the other line with me right now and they are going to answer this question for me hopefully. I can also type more messages down here at the bottom, I can hit enter or return in order to submit that question again, and the person will then respond to me with any response that they might have.
Now this could take some time, because obviously they don't have a single help representative for each and every customer that they have, so there is no telling what position I'm in, in their queue to answer these questions. So in this case I'll just say, thank you very much. I have answered my own question. I'll submit that and you can see my question goes through, and I can close that back up. If you wanted to you could also have sent that as an email and then they would email you back to the email address that you have provided there, and they would answer your question that way.
So if you don't want to wait on them to do Live Help, you can just submit an email then go about your business doing whatever you need to do and hopefully they will email you back with a response in a decent amount of time.
