Preview in Snow Leopard makes it easier to work with multiple PDF documents. Here in my exercise files folder, I have three PDF documents that I want to work with simultaneously. With earlier versions of Preview, I could select all three by dragging through them like I just did and then double-click them, but all three would open individually in Preview just as if I had double-clicked on them one at a time like this. And that would give me three open Document windows to be working with. And even shuffling around three documents like this would be difficult to manage even with using Expos?.
I am going to Option+Click the Close button so that they all close. Now with the latest version of Preview I can select all three PDFs. Double-click them. And they all open in a single window. In the sidebar, I can select the document I want to work with and in the Title bar you can see not only the page I am looking at, but also how many documents are currently opened in this window. So I am on page 1 of 2 of dragonwell.pdf, but I have three documents opened in this window totaling 14 pages. So I think you will agree that it's much easier to manage and work with all these documents when you don't have the shuffle of bunch of windows around.
