- Let's talk about some additional equipment that might come in handy if you create HDR photos. Now, it's already a given that you have a solid tripod. A solid tripod is absolutely essential. But, as you start to make those HDR images, you might notice that the card speed comes into play. Always pick up the fastest memory card that your camera supports. So, depending upon the manufacturer, that could be a whole range of things, but look for a good card, something with a high speed rating, or even a faster standard. Maybe your camera supports SDXC. We'll mount that card in the camera and close it up, and power on. Remember, always power down the camera when you're taking memory cards in and out to avoid any accidental damage to the card. Now, we can shoot this way and it's just fine. Let's put this on a bracketed mode, there we go. (camera clicking) And I got the shot, but notice, I had to touch the camera to do that.
