Lesa Snider is on a mission to teach the world to create—(and use!)— better graphics. An honors graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas, she has a passion for teaching others how to communicate through imagery. Lesa is the author of Photoshop: The Missing Manual (O'Reilly) and writes for Macworld, Layers, Elements Techniques, and Photoshop User magazines. She serves as a stock photographer and chief evangelist for iStockphoto, and travels the globe doing corporate training and speaking at conferences. She also assists New York Times columnist, David Pogue, on many projects.
In 2003, Lesa founded GraphicReporter.com, where she writes straightforward, step-by-step tutorials. Catch her Graphics Tip of the Week live each Wednesdsay night on YourMacLifeShow.com, the 13-year-old, Mac-focused broadcast which she co-hosts. When she's not parked in front a computer, you'll find her perched atop her motorcycle, carving the corners in New England.
"I have been a lynda.com member for a couple of years now, and it's the single best learning resource that I have found on the web by a long shot." Jim S.
