What I hope you've learned in this course
In this course, you've seen some of what happens in the prepress department of a printing plant. Your files are pre-flighted to find problems early in the life cycle of the job. And then they're proofed and trapped and imposed, ripped and plated. And finally your design is brought to life by talented pressmen. You should now also have some sense of what the press room environment is like. And that may prepare you for any upcoming press checks you're invited to attend. Now that you're more familiar with the steps it takes to make your print project a reality, I hoped you've gained an appreciation for the expertise of the skilled press and pre-press operators who make your job happen.
