100 Applying corner options to any shape
I love InDesign's ability to apply corner options to any frame. For example, I can select this frame over here that has a stroke around it, go to the Object menu, and choose Corner Options. The corner options dialogue box lets me change the corners from sharp, to rounded, or any of these other options as well. If I turn on the preview checkbox, I can see it even without closing the dialog box. And of course, as I change the value of this radius here, the corner changes as well. I can even change each corner independently if I first unlock this button. But that's not what I'm going to show you today. What I want to show you is how you can apply corner options to regular paths as well. This is just a regular path that I drew with a pen tool. I can see that by clicking on the direct selection tool. You can see, it's just a path with a few points on it, nice, sharp edge. But what's really cool is that I can apply a corner option to that, and it'll apply to any corners in this path. In…
