Using a texture brush in Photoshop

- Not all texture use has to cover the entire surface of a design. Sometimes you want to constrain your textures to align with specific design element or control the distress of a texture to a limited area. The best way to accomplish this in Photoshop is to use a texture brush. In the previous movie, I created the Photoshop brush and now I'm going to show you how I use this brush in one of my client projects. The project I want to share with you now is a t-shirt design that I did for a restaurant down in Florida called the Wicked Wheel. The theme of the restaurant is inspired by hotrods and choppers so I created a cool looking skull wearing a pickle-hopper hat and wings and some custom type to create this design. Now I'm going to place textures in this design to really pull off a nice end-product for the t-shirt design, but it's a simple one color or actually two-spot color design on a black shirt.
