Setting breakpoints
We talked about setting the viewport meta element to let the browser know we are building sites for them. When we use the viewport meta element we take up the responsibility of designing for various devices and their manuets. Part of the responsibility is fluid grids and using media queries. Traditionally we would create a style sheet to control the complete design of a web page. You can think of media queries as style sheets within style sheets. With so many browsers on so many phones and tablets and so on. We need to control how our design changes from one device to another. Our web designs aren't rigid to structures. They're more like organisms that need to grow to find itself in. In fact a good approach is designed for general device sizes. And not for specific devices, themselves.
