Join author Mordy Golding in this course as he introduces you to designing charts, graphs, and other infographics in Adobe Illustrator. Mordy reveals five key components to a great information design, and shows how to determine which of the types of graphs available in Illustrator is right for your data. The final chapter takes you step-by-step through the creation of an infographic about renewable energy, using charts, tables, patterns, and text. Plus, Mordy demonstrates how to maximize your export options by creating a file with multiple layers and artboards.

Mordy Golding

Mordy Golding, currently Director of Content for design and photography courses at lynda.com, has played an active role in the design and publishing space since 1990. With a background in art production for both print and the web, Mordy regularly speaks at worldwide events including Adobe MAX and PePcon. Mordy has written numerous books covering Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite; is the author of over 20 video training courses at lynda.com, including Up and Running with Adobe Creative Cloud, Kuler Essential Training, and the Illustrator Insider Training series; and is the author of the Real World Illustrator blog. Mordy worked at Adobe as the product manager for Adobe Illustrator, and was named a Champion of Graphic Design by Graphics IQ.
