Hey there, welcome back to Creative Quick Tips. My name is Justin Seeley, and this week I'm going to be showing you how to create your own custom keyboard shortcut reference sheet from Adobe Photoshop. I'm constantly giving out keyboard shortcuts in all of my courses and the seminars that I teach and things like that. And people always come up to me afterwards and are like, gosh I wish I just had a list of all of the keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop. Well it's actually easy to get a list of all the keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop. Inside of the Photoshop application, just go down to the Edit menu and then scroll down to Keyboard Shortcuts.
Once you get inside of Keyboard Shortcuts you're just going to come right here and you're going to choose Summarize. Once you do that it's going to come up and allow you to save some sort of document. There's no extension on it. But it's actually an HTML file. I'm going to save this app to my desktop. It's saved, and once I do I'll click OK. After I do that, I can then jump over into my web browser and from my web browser, I'll open up that file from my desktop. And as you can see, this is just a stylized HTML page of all of the keyboard shortcuts inside of Photoshop.
Now with a little CSS HTML knowledge, you could actually style this thing up and make it look really slick. And you could also blow it up to whatever size you want. It's a really interesting way to get all of the keyboard shortcuts in one distinct, and neatly compiled place so that you have them for reference any time you need them.
