Coloring areas with the Live Paint Bucket
In this movie, we'll fill in the neck and the sweater in part with the help of the Live Paint Bucket. So I'm going to start things off by selecting these shapes right here. I'll go ahead and Marquee these three shapes around the neck over here on the right-hand side, using the black arrow tool. And then I'll Shift-Marquee these left-hand path outlines. And now, notice that I've got this little gold square over here in the layer's panel, I'll alter option drag it up into the scratch layer in order to create a copy of those path outlines and then I'll turn off the neck and shoulder layers and I'll turn off the head layers, well so I can focus exclusively on these paths. Now, I'll press the A key to switch to the white arrow tool. And I'll go ahead and marquee these two top anchor points. And I'll press Ctrl+j or Cmd+j on the Mac to join them together. And now, I'll press the V key in order to switch back to the black arrow tool. And I'll marquee all of the path's outlines to select…
