Using the exercise files
If you have access to the exercise files for this course, you can use them to follow along with the lessons as I present them. In order to follow along, you will need to upload these files to a server or install a server on your working computer. The technology presented in this course will not work without a web server. Here in the exercise files folder, you will find a folder for the various chapters in the tutorial. The files inside the folders are generally organized by movie number and may have a -start and -done file as a beginning and ending place for that movie. You'll want to start with a working copy of the -start file and work with the copy, so that you can start over again with a fresh copy if you need to. In the CSS folder, you'll find a simple .css file that's used for all the examples. And in the JavaScript folder, you'll find a small JavaScript library called bwH5.js that is used by many of the examples. These JavaScript and CSS files are covered in more detail later…
