About the CSS file

The exercise files for this course includes a small CSS file called main.css. This same CSS file is used for many of my HTML5 application technology courses. Let's take a look at this file. It's a simple and small and straightforward CSS file. There's a little color guide at the top, as these are the colors that are used in the Explore California web site that's used for a lot of the other HTML5 courses. I decided to use the same colors. There is a simple reset for resetting all of the common HTML5 elements, and then we set some default fonts and things for body, for red, for messages and errors. The content container is set up, and finally, these are the styles for formatting the tables used by the bwH5.js JavaScript library. And there are some styles for forms. These forms are not used in this course, but they are used in some of my other HTML5 application technology courses. As always, feel free to modify this CSS file and use it as a starting place for your own projects.
