As you're going through the process of managing your Google+ page for business, you may have moments where you are going to need to do a little bit of troubleshooting, and that's natural. Any time we are working with a technology, whether it's a web technology or something off-line, there are going to be moments where we either need to read a manual, or we just need to have an expert help. So you're going to spend a lot of troubleshooting time if you're trying to do things like editing, of course, under Edit Profile, the Get Started section within Google+ is very helpful. It's a very clean dashboard to search and find things.
And then also the Settings tab--which you can get to either here, or you can get to here under Page settings-- can give you a lot of support. One thing I'd like to let you in on when it comes to troubleshooting tips is something that all of the experts employ. You ready? Here we go. When in doubt, Google it. Yes, Google it. Believe it or not, Google is one of the main places that folks go to do troubleshooting, and of course Google+ being powered by Google is a natural place to go.
So I am going to do a few sample Search Queries. I am just going to do one for Google+ for business. This takes me to a search engine results page with several options, most of them from Google, and I am going to go ahead and click this, and this can give me at ways either to watch videos, create my page. What I'm trying to show is that these different queries can give you really specific pages were you can scan and say, okay here's what I need. I'm going to go ahead and go back to Google and do something else more specific, a little more troubleshooting Q&A. I am going to do a how-to, how to set up a Google+ business page. Here we go.
And what I'm seeing here are search end results that also include tips from other professionals, and they're bloggers, folks like that, so that's another thing that you can search on. And one more troubleshooting example for when in doubt, Google it. Let's say I'm having trouble editing my Google+ photos, and I just can't find out how to do it. I am going to do edit my Google+ photos. I am going to go ahead and hit Search.
And my search engine results pages give me a link directly to Google support desk, which is a fantastic resource, and I encourage you to bookmark the Google support URL which we also have in your exercise files. But what you can do is just Google questions that you have or Google topics that you're looking to drill deeper into to learn more about, and you'll be amazed with the wealth of information that comes up at the click of your fingertips.
