Last but not least, we can optimize our Google+ page for No Obstacles Sport, or your brand, as you are going ahead and following these steps for your organization, and we can actually update our Contact information. When we created the account for No Obstacles Sport we put in two different phone numbers. We can actually make this look better and function better by editing profile. Then I'm going to go ahead and scroll down. I'm going to roll my mouse over. You'll see when it's lightly highlighted. I'm going to go ahead and click it, and we have two phone numbers, we have the general phone number, and this number here is actually a Mobile number.
So I'm going to go ahead and clarify that. You can add things like Fax number, Email, Address, which I'll go ahead and add here. I'm going to take the email address out of there, so it's super specific. I'm going to add email and put that right there, and I'm going to then make it all lowercase, so it looks as good as it can, and I think we are set. Those of you that have Pagers and Chats that want to add that, feel free to do so. You can make this contact information Public for organizations like No Obstacles Sport. They do want their information Public so that they can interact with the largest audience possible.
For some of you in business you may only want your contact information to be Public to Your circles or Only you. I'm going to go ahead and hit Save, and I'm going to hit Done editing, and I'm going to scroll down to make sure this looks the way I want it to look and verifies here at the top that the profile was saved successfully, and great, I have the Phone number, the Mobile Email address, and the Address, and for the email address you actually will want to go through this step and Verify to send a verification email to the address.
Once Google+ sees that you are indeed the email address owner, that you specified here, they'll go ahead and take this little thing out and they will make this email address public. So we are all set to go. When you are working with Google+ whether you're new to Google+, or you're optimizing existing page, I encourage you to be a healthy critic and go through your page, look at your Posts, take a look at your About profile, make sure that it represents your brand or your organization the way that you feel is truly best practice.
Little steps like these can make a big difference with your Google+ page.
