So now that you have customized your settings, the messages that you get in your inbox if people have tagged you in a photo, or mentioned your brand, you have one last customization feature that I wanted to point out, and that is also under Manage your pages, and that is actually managing the managers of your page. How do you set your managers? I am going to put my mouse over this page. Right now I just clicked here where it says Pages. You see when I put my mouse over here, it says Settings, and that was where we were in the last movie. And here we have the option to manage our managers, and I am going to go ahead and click that.

Adding page managers

So now that you have customized your settings, the messages that you get in your inbox if people have tagged you in a photo, or mentioned your brand, you have one last customization feature that I wanted to point out, and that is also under Manage your pages, and that is actually managing the managers of your page. How do you set your managers? I am going to put my mouse over this page. Right now I just clicked here where it says Pages. You see when I put my mouse over here, it says Settings, and that was where we were in the last movie. And here we have the option to manage our managers, and I am going to go ahead and click that.

There is also another way to get to this in case for some reason you're not seeing this. You can go up to the top right-hand corner, your utilities, and where it says No Obstacles, you can hit either Page settings or Manager. So, I am just going to click that again, takes you to the exact same page. And right now we are in the Managers tab, and Jaryl Leonard, the CEO, is the sole owner of the Google+ for Business page for No Obstacles Sport. Jaryl is also the CEO, she's a busy person, and she may choose to enlist help and have other people at the organization support her with management. And that can be everything from responding to questions to comments to posting things on behalf of the brand.

So, when in doubt, you can always click around and learn more about these things, but what I am going to do is I'm going to enlist the help of some of my employees, and I am going to go ahead and invite Mark. And this is an important note. A lot of times you can go ahead and do commas, and add people, you actually have to invite people one email address at a time. So helpful tip for you. I'm going to go ahead and verify yes, I would like to invite him to become a manager of the page. When in doubt, you can always hit Learn More. I am going to hit Yes and do Invite.

I am also going to invite other folks at No Obstacles Sport. I'm going to invite Akee. And do you see when I'm inviting people how Google matches their email address and their Google+ personal profile pictures? It's pretty cool, it verifies the folks that you're inviting to make sure that they are indeed the folks that you are wanting to ask for help. So I am going to also invite Juan. And then how it works is the folks who are invited receive an email into their email inbox and they actually have to check a link, and go ahead and accept their invitation.

So we are going to wait to see if any of them accept the invitation. And what you can also do, let's say that Jaryl as the CEO hits the point where she says, you know, I have got way too much going on, and I need to let Akee or Juan or Mark takeover. You can transfer ownership of the page. So, from a business perspective, you can always go ahead and create the account to secure your name and get everything rolling, and you can always relinquish the ownership to someone else. The managers have to be managing the page for at least two weeks to do that.

I am going to go ahead and hit the Refresh button here and see if we have had anyone accept the invite. Fantastic! Mark has accepted. So that means he checked the link in his inbox. So now Mark is actually a manager, which is fantastic. And so if I ever wanted to remove managers, I could go ahead and hit this box and remove them. I'm not going to, but I wanted to show that to you if you ever change your mind or someone leaves your organization, and you want to change the roles and responsibilities. So, you have owners, and you're all set to go, and I am just going to ahead and click Mark, so we have got that, and there he is, and now, he has the ability just like I do to toggle back and forth between being a personal presence on Google+ as well as operating as a brand manager.

So, that is a nice new feature, and what we will do now is move into more customization features for your Google+ Business page.
